The permanent collections connect local archaeology and everyday life with the region’s artistic and military history.

Archaeological finds from the Nysa region introduce the area’s earlier past. A display on medieval Nysa brings together crafts, urban construction, objects, tools and ornaments used from the 13th to 17th centuries.

Artistic crafts and urban memorabilia include Silesian artistic ironwork and objects connected with guilds. The collection also includes a glass attributed to St. Hedwig of Silesia and dated to the 11th/12th century.

The military collection spans edged weapons and firearms from the late 15th to early 20th centuries, alongside weapons from the Far East.

Another permanent exhibition documents the postwar migration of people from Poland’s eastern Borderlands. Objects, photographs, documents and personal memories in the display were donated by local residents.
